Nightlife in Gandia changes a lot with the time of year. In summer, Playa de Gandia, the town's beach district, has almost all of it: the big nightclubs, the seafront promenade and most of the bars. Out of season, many beach venues close or only open on special dates, and the town itself matters more, with at least one club that runs precisely when the beach empties.
This guide isn't a ranking. It's a selection of venues with activity confirmed in 2026 on their official channels, chosen for the kind of night they offer and ordered by area: the beach first, then the town. Programming, opening hours and tickets change from event to event, so always check the venue's website or official social media before you go.
The Gandia nightclubs in this selection
We've included venues that, at the time of writing, had announced parties or events in 2026 on their website, their official ticketing channel or their social media. Three are in Playa de Gandia and one is in town:
- Falkata, the mega-club of Playa de Gandia.
- Bacarrá, one of the longest-running clubs on the beach.
- Cocoloco, next to the Hotel Gandia Palace, on the beach.
- La Fábrica, in Gandia town, with three rooms and a season outside the summer.
Falkata and Bacarrá belong to the same Gandia leisure group, La Gran Manzana, which sells tickets for both on its website.
Falkata, the mega-club of Playa de Gandia
Falkata is on Camí Vell de València, in the Playa de Gandia area, and is the largest venue in this selection. According to its website, it covers more than 8,000 square metres and has more than 40 years of history, combining a large open-air stage, the Sundown Club, with the pool, the terrace and several indoor rooms with different styles, such as La Diva, Millenium, La Latina and El Doblón.
Its programming mixes styles depending on the room and the night. In August 2026 it celebrated its anniversary and announced nights with urban music artists, such as Brytiago on 1 August. It runs mainly in summer, though it opens on special dates out of season: in early October 2026, its official ticketing channel was already selling the Halloween party on 31 October.
It suits you if you want a mega-club with several atmospheres in one night and big summer parties. On the other hand, it gets very busy in high season, and the atmosphere depends a lot on the room you choose.
Bacarrá, near the seafront promenade
Bacarrá is on Calle Legazpi, in Playa de Gandia, a short distance from the seafront promenade, and is one of the longest-running clubs on the beach: the group itself presents it as a venue with several decades of history. Today it bills itself as "The Sunrise Club", and its 2026 programming combined sets by its resident DJs with themed parties, such as a White Party in June with an all-white dress code.
Many of the artists who have played there are from urban and Latin music, so it suits you if you're after those styles in a mid-sized venue near the sea. Its season centres on the warm months: on its Instagram, it kept announcing nights until the end of September 2026.
From the same group comes Eclipse, in the same area, which the group presents as a venue for an older crowd, aged over 25. We haven't given it its own entry because we couldn't confirm its 2026 calendar on its official channels. Bacarrá's trade-off is that, if you're after electronic music, other venues will suit you better.
Cocoloco, next to the Hotel Gandia Palace
Cocoloco is on Calle Camp de Morvedre, in Playa de Gandia, behind the Hotel Gandia Palace. According to its website, it has been at its current location since spring 2013 and draws more than 2,000 people on summer nights; local guides describe it as having two dance floors and an upper floor with a VIP area.
Its website talks about commercial music and DJ sets, and it holds themed nights: in September 2026, for example, it was announcing a party called Clandestino. As with the rest of the beach, its activity is concentrated in summer, and in early October 2026 its official ticketing channel showed no new events, so outside the summer check first whether any dates have been announced.
It suits you if you want a big commercial-music club right in the beach area. On the other hand, it draws big crowds on summer nights, so it's worth buying your ticket in advance on its website.
La Fábrica, in Gandia town
La Fábrica is on Avinguda de Villalonga, in Gandia town, away from the beach. It's the only venue in this selection that runs mainly outside the summer: it opened a new season on 26 September 2026, and its Instagram shows spring 2026 activity until the end of April.
According to its website, it has three rooms with different styles: Zona Zero, the underground room, with reggaeton, dembow and trap; Sala Duna, with hits from every era and live acts; and La Black, a small techno and hard room that opens on Saturdays until January. It opens on Friday and Saturday nights, and on some Saturdays it also holds afternoon parties, such as the "Ruta Remember" classics sessions announced for October and December 2026.

It suits you if you go out in Gandia out of season or are staying in town, and if you want to choose between urban music, hits or electronic music on the same night. The downside is the location: from the beach you'll need a taxi or other transport, and according to its website the minimum age, dress code and opening hours depend on the night, so check them first.
Where to go out in Gandia
Gandia has two centres a few kilometres apart: the town, inland, and the coastal area, made up of the Grau, the port district, and Playa de Gandia. Each has a different kind of night:
- Playa de Gandia: home to the big nightclubs, such as Falkata, Bacarrá and Cocoloco, plus bars and beach bars along the Passeig Marítim de Neptú. It's the liveliest area in summer and the one that goes quietest out of season. The promenade is also home to Circa, which isn't a nightclub but a seafront music bar: its 2026 posters advertise it for over-25s, opening on Fridays and Saturdays in August and September, and local guides list pop, rock, indie and remember classics.
- The Grau: the port district, next to the beach, with a smaller nightlife offer and the odd beach club, such as Playa Varadero, from the same group as Falkata and Bacarrá.
- Gandia town: has pubs and cocktail bars in the centre and, on Avinguda de Villalonga, La Fábrica, which runs mainly outside the summer.

Walking between the beach and the town isn't a comfortable option in the small hours, so if you're staying in one area and want to go out in the other, plan how you'll get there and back beforehand.
Which nightclub to choose for your kind of night
Without scoring them, here's how each one fits depending on what you're after:
- If you want a mega-club with several atmospheres: Falkata.
- If you like urban and Latin music: Bacarrá, or La Fábrica's Zona Zero out of season.
- If you prefer commercial music right in the beach area: Cocoloco.
- If you're after electronic music: La Fábrica's La Black room on Saturdays in season, or nights with guest DJs at the beach clubs; check the line-up for each date.
- If you're going out outside the summer or staying in town: La Fábrica; on the beach, check first for special dates, such as Halloween at Falkata.
When Gandia is liveliest
Nightlife in Playa de Gandia follows the summer: July and August are the busiest months, and the beach clubs hold their big parties in those weeks. In 2026, Bacarrá and Cocoloco kept holding parties until September, and Falkata was announcing a Halloween night for 31 October.

Out of season, the beach offer shrinks a lot and largely moves to the town, where La Fábrica opens at weekends from late September. Local festivities count too: the Fira i Festes de Gandia runs from 2 to 5 October 2026 with free concerts in town, and La Fábrica scheduled special nights on those days.
Getting back after a night out
Plan your way back before you go out. According to Gandia's tourism website, the town buses connect the town, the train station and the beach all year round, but don't count on them at closing time without checking the current timetable first. In the small hours, a taxi is usually the most practical option, as taxis cover the whole town and the beach; in summer, there can be waits when the clubs close. And don't drive if you've been drinking.
If you're coming from Valencia, bear in mind that going out in Gandia and going out in Valencia are different plans: the two cities are linked by the C1 Cercanías commuter train, but there's no continuous service through the night. If you're not staying in Gandia, check the times of the last train and the first morning train beforehand, or arrange another way back.
Tips before a night out in Gandia
- Check the venue's official calendar: outside July and August, many clubs only open on specific dates.
- Only buy tickets through official channels, the venue's own or those linked from its website.
- Check the exact location: some venues are on the beach and others in town.
- Check the entry requirements: minimum age, original ID and dress code, if the venue publishes them.
- Agree how you'll get back before you go out, especially if you're staying far away.
- Keep an eye on your belongings and don't leave your drink unattended.
- Don't drive after drinking.
Frequently asked questions
Are there more nightclubs on the beach or in town?
On Playa de Gandia, especially in summer: that's where Falkata, Bacarrá and Cocoloco are. In town, La Fábrica is the main option in this selection, and it runs mainly out of season.
Are there nightclubs open in winter?
Yes, but fewer. In early October 2026, La Fábrica had opened its season in town and Falkata was selling tickets for Halloween. The other beach clubs run mainly in summer, so check their dates before you go.
How old do you have to be to get in?
It depends on the venue and the event. Falkata and Bacarrá state on their websites that they don't admit minors, except at specific events for over-16s with authorisation, and La Fábrica sets a different minimum age depending on the night. Bring an original ID document and check the event's conditions before you go.
How much does entry cost?
It depends on the event, the date, the artists and whether you buy in advance, so we don't give prices. Check the venue's official website for the night you're interested in.
Is it worth coming from Valencia for a night out?
It can be, especially in summer, but treat it as a full plan rather than a quick night out: arrange where to sleep or how to get back beforehand, because the Cercanías train between Gandia and Valencia doesn't run through the night.
